The difference between boys and girls
Well a while back, I went babysitting for two kids and there three cousins, and I soon found out the difference between boys and girls. There were two girls, and three boys, and this is how my babysitting job went:
A few minutes after I got there, they seperated into boys and girls, and went into two different rooms. I went into check on them a few times, and this is what I saw:
Girls - Playing 'my little pony' and 'Barbie'
Boys - Having a farting contest.
Later, I went to offer them desert, which was oreos. This was there reaction:
Girls - "Really? Thanks!" Then they walked over to the cookies, and took a plate, went into there rooms.
Boys - "Yes!!!!!" They then proceded to run and scream over to the cookies. They then grabbed a plate and ran back to the rooms. On the way there, one of the boys cookies even slid of his plate because he was running so fast.
Then, I went in to take there plates for them.
Girls - "Thank you!" and they hand me the plates.
Boys - "I wouldn't come in here if I were you, it smells pretty bad."
Then they went onto the 'My little pony' website, where you could design a dance the ponys could do. You could then give the dance a name.
The girls gave there dance the name - Fairy Dust
The boys gave there dance the name - Stinky butt.
Also, I was sitting in my Seminary Class next to another redheaded boy and we somehow got on the subject of steam rooms. He said that when he was six, he went to his uncles house, who had a steam room, and remembered that if you spat on the rock, it made steam. TWo years later, they went back to his uncles house for a family reunion.
Remembering the steam room, he thought that the Bar-Bi-Que would do the same thing. So he took a large bucket of water from the pool and dumped it on the Bar-Bi-Que.
In his words, "And then there was this HUGE thing of steam and it was awesome! Until I realized that I had broken the BBQ."
"And, you didn't think of it before?"
"Well No, I was just thinking about the stream."
And so that, my friends, is the difference between boys and girls.

10 Things About Trini
Dad tagged me a while back, so here are my 10 things you may not know about me, or will be reminded of shortly. This really is harder than it looks!
1. I love fortune cookies. I collect the fortunes and keep them all in a box. Not that they will all come true, but they're still fun.
2. I used to think that the Ward Executive Secretary, when going around to count Sacrament Meeting attendance, was really going around to see who was being reverent. This partially came from a comment Dad once made about the fact that he and Mom didn't say the prayer in Sacrament Meeting. He said, "Are we not reverent enough?" So I made sure that whenever the Reverence Man walked by, I was sitting up straight, folding my arms, so that Mom and Dad could say the prayers. Aren't I considerate?
3. I love the smell of laundry. I got an air freshening spray this year that is "Clean Linen" and I love to spray it in my room so that I can smell the clean laundry smell. My roommates don't seem to find the same joy as I do.
I also love the smell of dishwasher soap-- particularly the Kirkland brand from Costco. Missy started monitoring me while we babysat to make sure I wasn't getting high off of the smell.
4. I hate warm seats. If a seat is warm I will stand up and move to a different one. This happened today in the library. I had to move to a different seat, and there weren't any on the floor, so I went to a different floor in order to get a properly cooled seat.
5. I hate bridges. I hate fish. I hate monkeys.
I'm afraid of the bridges collapsing. Fish are just gross and I've had nightmares about them. Not sure where the monkeys came from-- Probably the Golden Compass books.
6. I'm allergic to cats as you all know, but also Guinea Pigs. I'll get rashes if I hold them, and they make my throat and ears itch.
7. Katie Haslam, Suzie Blandon, and I all used to play a game when we got together. We were all magic princesses of some sort, wearing Katie's dress up costumes. Katie wore a blue one and had power over the water. Suzie wore a Green one, and had power over trees and wildlife. I had a red one and could control fire and weather. Yeah, mine was the coolest.
8. My favorite Disney Princess is Jasmine. I remember the show coming out when I was in Kindergarten because of all the girls who got to be her for Halloween. Also, my friend and I made crowns out of the kindergarten clay and walked around saying, "By order of the princess!"
9. My earliest memory was my fourth birthday at our house in West Valley. I remember opening up a box with pink, flowered slippers. Bethany later got some that were a different pink pair.
10. I have never sworn at anyone or flipped them off. But one time a guy pulled right in front of me to back into a parking spot (mind you I was waiting for the car to pull out, with my turn signal on, having gotten there FIRST). I was so mad that I parked my car, went over to his truck, pulled the windshield wipers up, and spit on the car. At least it didn't damage anything. I still see that truck around the parking lot here, and yes, I still get angry. However, I have not spit on any cars since.
Now I tag......MORI!

Sunday game memories for the record

"Oh, was I supposed to read the real one?"
"The Coach. . ." "Cami! It was supposed to be The COUCH!"
". . . a loving team. . . " "Well, it really said a LOSING team."
"Time's out Grandma! Buzz her!" "Oh, um buzz!"
"Matt, you're going to lose your buzzing privileges." (after Matt buzzed the fish in the tank and bugged everyone else in the room with the buzzer)
"This is what we eat for Easter." "Eggs? Hot cross buns?" "No, we put pineapple on it." "Cake? Pizza?" "No, it was ham." "Oh sorry, hot cross buns were on Good Friday."

10 things you may not know about Cami. . .
1. I hate almost all fruits, but like almost all veggies!
2. This year, me and one of my closets friends, Kara, were standing in the girls bathroom, waiting to get in a stall. While waiting, my french teacher, MISTER Olsen, walked in on us. Without thinking, me and Kara both waved naturally and said hi while he rushed out.
3. I hate cheese. But not cheese cake.
4. In second grade, my friend Karen dared me to eat grass. So I did. It tasted horrid. I wouldn't recomend it.
5. When I was little, I had a game I would play in the backyard. I was an Explorer who would travel down the amazon river and would climb Mt. Everest. I really enjoyed it and played it multipul times, all conquring challenges that would never happen in real life, such as me beeting Chinese Ninja's on the top of Mt. Everest.
6. All through elementry school (and most of seventh grade) I wish I had bright blonde hair.
7. I've always wanted to play the bassoon. It's the nerdiest instrament invented, but it would be awesome.
8. I have a very overactive imagination. Many times through Geography, Math, and mostly science, I wonder what I would do If I could feeze time and go anywhere I want while time and everyone else is frozen.
9. Last year, a teacher blammed me for three different things all during the same class period. She then threatend to give me a referal if I did anything else bad again, even though all the things I got blammed for was her fault. Out of anger, I flipped her off when her back was turned. Half the class saw it, and were in complete shock, the other half burst out laughing. I never got caught, but I did repent :)
10. At one time, me and my friend (mentioned in post two), Kara, made a fake myspace and fake facebook page to freak out two different kids in our band class. Our name was Barbie Jones and we were 25 years old. Both times, however, they figured out who we were, and I deleted them soon after. I did get humor out of it though.

Top 10 Things My Family May Not Know About Me
- I once put ketchup in someone's shake just to be funny. He took it back up to the counter to complain about the taste and they gave him a new shake. I never did tell him why it tasted so funny.
- Twice I accidentally walked into the ladies' restroom at work. You think I would have learned the first time.
- I have read at least one verse from the scriptures everyday since 1991.
- I don't enjoy flying in an airplane - I would prefer to drive everywhere.
- As an altar boy, I split my pants when I genuflected (go down on one knee). Lucky for me I was wearing a robe. Unfortunately, the priest wouldn't let me wear the robe out of the church so I ran the whole way home.
- I can hold my breath for up to 90 seconds (not sure if that's long compared to others). I know this because I do it all along during church, on a plane, at work during boring meetings and yes, even in the Temple. I count in my head because I haven't worn a watch since 1999.
- This one is for mom: I secretly like the song "Alone Again, Naturally". Even though as a kid I would sing it, "Alone Again, Like a Tree."
- My perfect job would be training people to run marathons and designing course routes but not organizing the activity. Running is not my favorite sport...it's baseball.
- High School memories: I ran the mile in 4:55, I never went on a date - I was too shy to ask anyone not to mention talking to a girl, I was a senior at age 16, I grew three inches after graduating, I received food stamps for lunch because we were so poor, I would eat raw hamburger on a bun with a raw onion, my highest bowling score was 220 (p.s. I went bowling with Cami last year and threw 7 strikes in a row). I now have a bowling ball engraved with my name.
- I used to walk and talk in my sleep. Once night Grandma MacKay called our home and I woke up to talk to her. I spoke with her for several minutes but I never remembered having the conversation, so much so, that I convinced Grandma that it wasn't me she was talking to.
- Bonus I: In addition to my siblings Mary, Mitch, Laurie, Barney and Scott there is one more who looks a lot like my dad but nothing like my mom. He/she would be about 49 years old and is close to Barney in age. I didn't learn this until after my dad died.
- Bonus II: I shot the sheriff but I did not shoot the deputy.

If looks could kill. . .
Meet my band teacher. She's the short one staring - -I mean, glaring, at the camera. See what I have to live with 5 out of 7 days of my life? And the sad part is, I think that's her NATURAL look. Click the pic. to enlarge it. It looks even better.

Idaho
Check it out! Pretty cool stuff huh? Not only did I get to hold a gun for the first time, I got to shoot it too! Fully supervised, of course. Like they'd let me shoot without supervision....And I got to feed a horse. So I put the pictures up. Enjoy!

Starting them early

Andrew was sitting in his bouncy seat this evening while we packed up the house. The TV was turned to an episode of Monk, and when I came back Drew was staring intently at the TV. We have another Monk fan!
Later on, he got a little fussy and started crying. As soon as the Law and Order gavel pounded on the TV, however, he was out cold. Works better than a lullaby.

See how talented I am??
This is actually me playing, but because I'm so modest, I hired this guy to fake it for me.
He's pretty good at faking, now isn't he?
